She's a star

Things have been busier than usual here. It's a welcome change of pace, as that means I have work to do. Yeah! I love work! Go work! But work comes at a price, namely fewer naps and more wearing of pants. Napping comes before blogging (but after making David Lebovitz's tiramisu ice cream - I think it has changed Justin's life). Sorry, dudes.

We have also been extremely busy with the following:

1. Not painting the house.

2. Playing MarioKart (I have a personal vendetta against Wario and that stupid girl-Yoshi, Birdface or whatever her name is).

3. Teaching Gracie to put her toys away. This generally begins with one of us stuffing a toy in her mouth and guiding her to the (very large) toy basket, and then it devolves into Crazy-Pants-Bucking-and-Shake-'Em-Til-They're-Dead Time. I'm okay with that, but let's try to keep it on your own time, okay?

She's also been playing Frisbee. I say this not only because I am her mother, but because I'm also the designated Frisbee-tosser (Justin has pretty terrible aim, and he'll be the first to tell you about it). But seriously, she's awesome. Check it out:

I'm glad she's athletic, because she will never win an academic scholarship.

I'm exhausted just watching her! You have a great yard.
