Last month's Tony Awards were a good time for all. Except for me. Because there were apparently thunderstorms, oh, I don't know, A HUNDRED MILES AWAY and STUPID weather lady kept breaking in during my local telecast. My head nearly split in two from the anger.
Luckily, there's always You Tube.
I think this was my favorite performance of the night. I hope Rock of Ages makes it to Kansas City in the next few years - it will be a must-see for me.
(The beginning, sure, is a little hokey, so you can fast-forward to 2:15 for the show-stopping number. Did you know this song is the #1 karaoke song in the world? True!)
And then that reminds me of another musical set in the 80s, one of my first favorite soundtracks. I actually have this on VHS somewhere, because I am awesome. If anyone could shake it, it was the girls from The Life.
