Agh!

So awhile back, I was trying some dyeing technique I made up all on my very own, something to generate a graduated ombre effect (I am such the expert on dyeing, after all) and while it worked, it yielded a tangled mess of yarn. It sat on my craft room floor for many, many months. I decided to wind it up last week and the first skein kept breaking. There was no good reason why it was breaking and I chalked it up to some bad dyeing. I ended up throwing away the yarn because who needs heartache like that?

I just finished my morning sewing (I'm like Little Women over here) and I saw something tannish-gold on the floor, right where that tangled yarn sat for many months. Maybe it was a bit of leaf that the wild beast brought into the house. I pick it up and it is a DEAD MOTH and it crumbled to ashes in my hand.

Sweet lord, they've found me.

oh dear. Oh no. Do we need to go to Costco, buy all the dog beds, and then empty the cedar shavings all over your house? (it's that or a poultice, since we're in Little Women mode here.)
